What I Am Most Excited About As I Embark on a New Career in Financial Services.

I take my next exam tomorrow morning (prayers, well wishes, and good vibes are being requested to send my way. I need them!)

I have failed one of the exams three times already and now have to wait six months before I can take that one again (I will take it....you can't hold this girl down forever!), but I am taking another exam tomorrow that will allow me to really propel myself forward and hopefully start working by mid June. That is my goal. So please pay I pass!

Because I am ready to go and I am ready to serve.

Specifically, I am ready to help women prepare for their own futures. Even if they don't work and they don't desire to have a career for themselves. That isn't the dream of every woman and that is okay. Personally, for myself, I believe that every woman should have their own money, even if it is just a tiny bit stocked away, but not everyone has to fall within that line of thinking.

Isn't that the beauty of choice?

Going down memory lane in my own journey to financial independence and understanding, I realized how much I just did not know. I don't want to act like my ex-husband was a money-controlling tyrant, because I will be fully honest with you, neither of us really knew what we were doing and we did not have a full handle on our finances like we should have. Fast forward from 2018 to now 2024, I am much wiser, a little more shrewd, and armed with a fresh encylclopedia of financial knowledge (who knew?!) that I cannot wait to share with my future people.

Those who want to step out of the shadows of fear and desire to reprogram all of their previous beliefs about retirement, investing, saving and living well and with generosity in mind. I am specifically excited to tackle the belief systems that teach us that we have to have a poverty mindset in order to be holy and good, as well as destroy the prosperity gospel that seems to inflitrate our churches and in society.

I am also excited to help women feel confident in asking questions about their financial futures. Whether they work or not, they should be at the table with their partners and discussing what their futures look like. The stats unfortunately tell us that as woman, we are more likely to outlive our husbands. What will be our plan then? Why not have the confidence and assurance of a future that we dreamed of. It doesn't have to include yachts and elusive vacations to the exotic.

It can be as simple as creating generational wealth and legacy for our children and their children. Women should be a part of that legacy building. Their voices should be amplified. You and your spouse, together, should build the future.

I also want to encourage and help women who are experiencing transitions in their life. Divorce, loss, a new career, inheritance. She should have confidence. She should be equipped. It should be in her best interest. She should be excited about a new life, even though she may be walking through an incredibly painful road. To show her that there is a rainbow at the end and that she is not a victim of circumstances but she can move forward victorious....and better than before.

I am excited to connect. To share. To teach. to encourage. I want to see women and families win and live well and live generously. I want to see their children and their children's children thrive. I want ministries and communities to come alive because individuals decided to be impactful with their investments and their planning. This isn't about just becoming a millionaire.

This is about changing the world and helping others be better. That is what I can't wait to be a part of.

Hoping for a great outcome tomorrow. Will keep y'all posted.

Your Dream BuildHer Bestie,

Tiffany Rhea
