I started a little someting way back in November of 2023, and while I shared about it a bit on my social media channels, I really didn't decide to dive into.
I have been extremely busy with other priorities (like studying, planning a wedding, and family life). However, summer is upon us. In the midst of planning vacations and perhaps playing a little catchup on rest, we are also thinking of ways to make extra money this summer.
My fiance informed our kids that they will each have a job this summer. My daughter is 18, so she will be. on the hunt for a job to secure before she starts college in the fall. My son turns 15 in July, and much to our suprise, there are several places that will hire 15 year olds. He is motivated by money, as he likes to spend money on cologne (ask him about fragrance.....he does all the research and he has educated himself on notes and how our bodies react etc.) He also wants to start saving for a car to purchase when he turns 16.
Our younger two are 13 and 10. So they will find babysitting jobs, dog sitting, lemonade stands, and other creative ways to earn money this summer.
This challenge for our kiddos got me thinking that I should really start this up again and earn some passive income while I work toward my bigger goals and career. Teaching our children to earn instead of just expecting things to be handed to them (or purchased for them) made me realize that if I want something, I should have the same mindset and get out there and work for it.

I had done mostly direct sales and those made sense because you were buying a physical product.
