My September Reading List: Fall Rom-coms, Family drama and Mystery and a Time Traveling Cafe.

Y'all. Can you believe it is already September? This month is extra special because it is officially my wedding month and by September 27th, I will be a whole freaking wife to the love of my life! So crazy!

I still have a few things to check off before the big day. I also have a big exam coming up next week. So a lot of my time is being spent ticking off those boxes. However, I don't want to be so frazzled and stressed before my wedding, and I don't want my fiance to feel that way either. Reading has actually helped me a great deal in clearing my frazzled head (along with a really fun getaway with my bestie to the mountains).

Here is what I am gearing up to read for the month of September. Not sure I will get through all of them, but I will try!

Oh, and I created a new little instagram account called @tiff_readsalot. Follow along so you can see what I am reading and recommending!

I will start by sharing the book I literally just finished today. I know that is cheating, but I started it on September 1st (literally) and it was such a cute and fast read.

Summer Ever After by Kortney Keisel: This is part of a 7 book series by a few different authors who worked together to create rom-coms that told stories of characters featured throughout each of the books. I am sure that was challenging. However, book one in the series was so freaking adorable and pretty funny. I loved it! It does make me want to read book 2!

The Pumpkin Spice Cafe by Laurie Gilmore: Can there be a more perfect title for a fall rom-com read? Think Gilmore Girls like setting, small town romance, adorable and fun characters, wonderful banter, and lattes. Yes, please! I just started reading this book yesterday (September 6) and I am already halfway through! Will keep you posted!

Blue Sisters by Coco Mellors: This is my September selection from Book of the Month. I have 2 sisters and one brother. All about family drama and secrets. Not a thriller, and not a rom-com. Literary fiction that weaves together the lives of 3 sisters who are mourning the loss of another sister and coming together to save their childhood home. It looks to be a beautiful story. I love family dramas so I think I may enjoy this one. (Also, this month, you can get your first book for $5. Sweet!).

The God Of The Woods by Liz Moore: A Missing teenager; family secrets; youth camp; mystery. My kind of read. Excited to dive in to this soon!

Before The Coffee Gets Cold by Toshikazu Kawaguchi: A coffee shop that has been serving coffee to its patrons for over 100 years....and provides the opportunity for them to travel back in time. I purchased this book a year ago, and I have decided it is time to read it. A small book, but sometimes the shortest stories are the most impactful.

What is on your to read list? What are you currently reading?

Rooting You On.
